I am pleased to report that our girls did great in the nursery today! They ended up moving them to the older infant class instead of the 1 year old class hoping they would do better with a smaller group of children and it worked. My little trouble makers--had to be moved to a different class! I was told that their activity of choice was...the swings. Yup, they relaxed in the baby swings for the majority of the two hour bible study. My 16 month old toddlers hanging out in the baby swings. We got rid of ours back when they were 6 months old because they hated them. Now apparently they love them! If only I would have kept their swings...I could might actually get the floors mopped for once. HA! But, if we still had their swings they would probably still hate them. I think it was a comfort thing today...anything to keep them happy!
They told me that Maggie was a little more whiney than Emma, which surprises me not one bit! She's more of our little drama mama these days. They said she kept looking over to Emma for confirmation about everything. They asked her if she wanted her snack and she'd look at Emma to see if she took hers, her cup, she'd look at Em to see if Emma had hers...just about everything they offered she looked for her sisty to make sure it was okay. Which is SO funny because she does that at home too. If we try to get them to eat something they've never had, Maggie watches Emma to see if she eats it. If she does, then Maggie will go ahead and try it too. It is so cute, but at the same time has me worried that Maggie is going to be very much co-dependant on her sister. I guess they are still young and I shouldn't quite worry about that yet.
The bible study for me was great. We sang a couple of songs, went over our workbooks/homework from last week and just had a good time being with one another. We shared some prayer requests and concerns that we have as mothers and wives and just enjoyed the company of other women. This bible study is doing so much for me not only as a christian woman, but just as a person in general. I am finding myself through this group again, not as Mommy but as Amy. Don't get me wrong, being Mommy is AMAZING, but it's fun just being Amy for two hours out of my week! :)
All in all, the morning was a huge success! God is good!
Yeah, I am not a Face-Space My-Book person either...Great idea with the Blog. Glad to hear that you guys are all doing so well. I miss getting to hang out with ya'll. Kids are doing awesome, Reese starts soccer this afternoon, I am the assistant coach. Reagan is growing up way to fast. But she is my little angel. My knee is getting much better, and am thrilled that only after 14 weeks from having my knee reconstructed I am able to run again. In fact I am about 87% back to normal. You are right, God is good! Love you guys and hope to see the kids soon.

Don't you think it's funny that Emma (the younger of the two...which I know doesn't really make much difference) is the leader and the comforter to Maggie and you were that to me growing up (and you are the younger too...). Maybe Maggie will be like me and Emma like you :)I love my little baby girls!!!
